An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in any god. Babies don't believe in any god because they don't know about them until they are forced to attend church and indoctrinated to believing. Cannot put it any simpler for you but I suspect you will still twist it to make yourself right. That's the religious way!
Atheism IS a religion in the same way off is a TV setting or baldness is a physical trait. Why does the point always go over an atheist's head?
